Editorial Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026.

This policy sets the standard for new ForexSignal24 material and substantive revisions to the archive. The aim is to explain trading concepts in a way readers can examine, reproduce where appropriate and question. Older entries may need further correction as information or software changes.

Use sources readers can check

Factual explanations should use primary sources where available: platform documentation for software and indicators, official provider documents for account terms, regulators for their own rules and warnings, and the relevant public institution for historical events. Links should support the particular statement beside them.

A provider's marketing claim is not independent evidence of safety or performance. Comparisons should identify the relevant entity, jurisdiction, account type and information date where those details affect the conclusion. Unverified claims should be removed, qualified or clearly attributed.

Separate facts, illustrations and results

A historical chart illustrates what happened in that example. A hypothetical trade or probability calculation illustrates stated assumptions. Neither establishes a strategy's future performance. Articles should distinguish the original rules of a method from additional examples or implementation choices.

A claim of testing needs an identifiable method and evidence. A useful report explains its data period, instruments, entry and exit rules, position sizing, execution assumptions and costs. It should disclose losses and limitations. Unsupported success percentages, invented backtests and decorative ratings do not meet this standard.

Charts, screenshots and diagrams should have descriptive captions or alternative text. An explanatory drawing must not be presented as a broker statement or a verified trading record. Software assistance in research or editing does not remove the need to check facts, sources and calculations.

Keep dates and attribution meaningful

Original publication dates and credited author bylines remain part of the archive. A review or update date should correspond to actual review or substantive changes. Changing a headline alone is not a reason to present old analysis as current. Historical event articles should retain their historical context.

Corrections and commercial links

Report an error through Contact with the URL, disputed statement and supporting source. A material correction should explain what changed when that context matters to readers.

Affiliate relationships and promotional placements should be disclosed where readers encounter them. Compensation is not evidence that a product is suitable or that a strategy works. See the Risk and Affiliate Disclosure for the commercial context.
