Leveraged trading can cause substantial losses

Leverage increases exposure relative to the money committed and magnifies the effect of price movements. A small market move can cause a large account loss. Depending on the product, provider and applicable protections, losses may exceed the amount deposited. Do not assume that negative balance protection applies to every account.

Execution also matters. Spreads can widen, prices can gap and orders can fill away from a requested price. A standard stop order does not guarantee its execution price. Commissions, financing and other charges can turn an apparently profitable setup into a loss.

Over-the-counter forex involves exposure to the dealer or counterparty as well as to market prices. Withdrawal problems, insolvency and disputes cannot be assessed from a chart signal. Check the product and jurisdiction

Rules, eligibility and investor protections vary. Check the exact legal entity offering the account, its status with the relevant regulator and the agreement applicable to your residence.
